My employer is saying that he dont have any update on Lottery..I have below Queries :

 

1)All Applications wil get receipt number or only selected lottery applications will get receipt number?

2)Other than waiting to hear from employer. Is there any other we can know that application is picked in lottery or not.

Only selected applications will get a receipt number. All other applications are returned to the employer.

1. Only selected applications

2. If not selected, your employer will receive the packet back.

Basically wait and see right now, and there is no way of finding out other than getting either a receipt email (for premium processing applications) - which should happen within the next 10 days, or a paper mail notification which could go into May for non premium processing applications, or wait for rejected application to show up via mail - by mid May.

My wife H1B is selected in 2014-2015 lottery and lawyer passed the receipt number on Apr 17th. It is filed in premium processing. He forwarded an email from Vermont premium processing email Id with Apr 10th as the received date.

Anyone received receipt number in regular process?
