RFE sent to wrong service center

I had a request for RFE and I replied the RFE well before time but by mistake sent it to Dallas Lockbox instead of Vermont center. It resulted in denial of my I539 (H-4 to F-1 ). I have a certified mail receipt that i had sent the reply. will they consider my argument that it was a human error? what should i do? Can I use any other options except MTR or new application ? Can i write a letter to the service center requesting to reconsider and explain the situation. 

 

I am trying to know the options to save another 3-6 months processing time.

When did you apply i539 ? How did you apply (through ELIS or Paprebased.)

 

I applied on Jan 5,2014 and still waiting.
