I was on H4 and applied H1b .My employer didnot provide my copy of aproval notice. I have recipt notice.it got aproved .

He revoked petition after 3 months. can you please let me know if still exempt on CAP or i need to file on new QUOTA ?

If you are sure your  H1B got approved then you are cap exempt.

Once your first H1 is approved you will be cap exempt.

You may be exempt. I would suggest a brief phone appointment with say the Murthy firm or any of your choice to make sure.

Revocation is completely irrelevant for you. An employer is required by law to inform USCIS if you don't work for for them, and then USCIS will revoke the H1.

 

If you have been counted for the quota and haven't used the full 6 years, you are not counted again. So, that is all that matters. Forget about revocation.
