nag4054
Hello All, I am working for an employer X in US from 2011 and my current H1B is about to expire in April 2014. Though I am in H1B, I am working in Canada Office for the same employer for the past one year. Now my employer provided me two options: 1. H1B extension along with filing of Green Card in EB2 category. 2. Move to Canada Payroll. Work there for 12-18 months and come back to US on L1A visa followed by filing Green Card in EB1C category. By the way, I am working as a Manager both in US and Canada. Please guide me the right option. Also would like to know what is the backup plan if I go with option 2 and L1A is denied. Can i still go back to H1B and file GC in EB2 or EB1. Thanks in Advance. Link to comment

Best option would be 2 as in EB1 your GC approval is quicker than EB2. If L1A is denied you can always come back on H1B Link to comment
