I have my H1B visa stamping interview next week in delhi and i am really worried due to my education.

I have done my B.Tech in Mechanical.

I work for a very reputed IT company in India and have 4 years of experience now.

Will my education be a problem for stamping?

Please suggest

Yes, most probably. Your education should be related to your H1B profession.

I had few subjects like Computer aided designing, Computer aided manufacturing etc during my college.

Also I have done programming languages trainings in my college time.

Is there anyway I can justify my case?

I cannot say for sure that the reasons you provided justify your case. Having a subject in a semester and some training is not going to help you. Why don't you take the help of a good attorney to know where you stand?

i don't understand one thing, if that was a problem then how come my petition is approved?

Can you tell me the difference there?

I have seen other people in this forum face similar kind of trouble like yours. You can search for those posts in this forum. Sometimes H1B petition gets approved in error and they end up being revoked by USCIS or US consulate once they detect that error when you go for stamping or apply for extension. That is the reason why I asked you to talk to a good immigration attorney.

Well I have the same doubt. What people say is H1 petition is approved by USCIS which is part of DHS and H1 VISA is issued by the consulates which are part of DOS.

Petitions are sometimes approved in error.

Examiners are humans, even if it may not always look like that...
