H1 Approved but shows Admin processing

This question might have been asked before but my husband attended his interview on feb 18 in Hyderabad, India and the VO said the visa is approved but it still shows as "Administrative Processing" on ceac.state.gov website as of today (2/27/14). He was supposed to fly back last week but postponed it to this week and looks like we have to reschedule it again. The website says it could take several weeks but do anyone have a general idea of how long it would take? Is it advisable to attend another interview for H4 visa? What other possible options do we have?

Srics - It is not advisable for you to attend H4 visa. Better wait until your Husband get his passport.

He should be getting his PP in few days. Sometimes it takes time to issue the visa.

Thnx for the response. I am on my H1. I was talking about my husband going for H4 visa.

If they said visa is approved, did thy ask you to submit your passport? If yes, then thy'll tell you when to pick it. If they say admin processign and did not ask your passport, then they cannot tell how long it is going to take.
