Indian Passport Renewal But company is processing H1 for 2014

Hi,

My company is planning to apply for H1B petition by April. My passport is going to expire on 07/19/2014 and I want to renew the same available renewal slot 26/March/2014 or April 2014. In india renewal process take atlease 30 working days.

 

suggest on below questions.
 

1. Can you please let me know if it is ok to renew the passort on March/April 2014.

2. Does passport Expire will impact my H1 Visa stamping validity.

 

 

 

Note: I have B1 stamped in my current passport it valid for 10 year and now company is applied for H1.

 

Please reply to my quires at the earliest.
