H4-H1 filing. But got F1 approved from April 5th

Hello Mam,

 

My Spouse is currently on H-4 status. We had applied for COS from H-4 to F-1 on October 19 2013 n got it approved on February 18 2014

and the F1 start date is 04/05/2014.

 

But we have found a company who is willing to file H1B for this year. But we are confused on what status should we apply H1B.

 

 

If applied on H4 status and got the H1B approved than do i need to again apply for COS from F1 to H1B as my wife will be on F1 status from April 5th.

Better to apply as consular processing to avoid this confusion.
