URGENT: incorrect email in DS - 160 and interview tomorrow

My wife's H4 visa interview is tomorrow FEB 27th and we realized that the e-mail address provided was incorrect in DS-160 application form. Can anyone please let me know if this is going to be an issue

 

The profile email is correct. I called Hyderabad consulate office(CGI Customer Support) and they mentioned that they will use the profile email for any communications(passport pickup).... Does this mean, if any additional documents are required(for 221G or something else) ...do they send an e-mail to profile email?

 

I will be travelling back to USA in next 10 days and would not be possible to postpone and reschedule in this time period.

 

Experts..please help. This is little urgent.

If they said it should not be a problem then do not worry. She can probably inform VO her correct email address at the time of interview.

Thanks Jairichi. They said they will communicate with the profile email which is correct (I am not sure whether all the communications are done through this email. They were clear that correct email will be used for passport pickup and they were not clear about other addition docs) . I am worried about the email adress in DS - 160. Any idea what that is used for?

DS-160 information is for their records. Since your wife is going for a H4 visa the documents she need is her passport, a copy of your I797 and marriage certificate. So, it should be cool.
