PP check sent after status change, what will happen to check

I got the H1B extension receipt number few days back(4th Feb) and I initiated the process to change it to premium process. I posted the check to USCIS office and the very next day(20th Feb) my case status was changed to  "Post decision activity" & "we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129 PETITION".

 

That means the status was changed before receiving the check by USCIS for the Premium process. I would like to know, what happens to my check in this situation.?

Will USCIS send the check back to me or they cancel the check.?

Can I cancel the check by approaching my bank?
