Thanks to Murthy forum for creating this platform letting everyone share their experiences and help each other out. Here is my visa interview experience along with questions asked to fellow buddies here:

 

 

VO: Who is your employer?

Me: XXX

 

VO: Who is the CEO of your company?

Me: XXX

 

VO: Where is your employer located?

Me: XXX

 

VO: Which city is your employer located?

Me: XXX

 

VO: Who is your client?

Me: XXX

 

VO: Where are you working now?

Me: XXX

 

VO: How long have you been working for your client?

Me: 18 months

 

VO: How long have you been working for your employer?

Me: Close to 2 years

 

VO: Did you have a US visa before?

Me: Yes, F-1

 

VO: Which college?

Me: XXX

 

VO: Which degree did you graduate with?

Me: Master of Science in Engineering (I didn't spell out Electrical engineering intentionally)

 

VO: What is your salary?

Me: XXX

 

VO: How many employees in your company (employer)?

Me: XXX

 

VO: Do all of your company employees work in IT consulting?

Me: Yeah, most of them

 

VO: When are you leaving Jamaica?

Me: Coming Friday 

 

VO: OK. Your VISA is approved. Come and pick up your passport on Wednesday.

 

 

 

Questions asked to other friends over here today:

 

Show me your W2

What does your employer do?

What services do you offer to your company?

What specialization did you do in Masters?

What is your expertise?

Tell me about your project and your role in it?

Show me your recent paystub?

Did you go around Jamaica?

 

There were around 40 people (yes!!!! most of us are surprised at the count) who attended the interview today and I did not hear any rejections from people I've talked to.
