Hello,

I am on 6th year of my H1B (expires Dec 2014), My company has just started the process of Labor Certification

Last week they have applied for Prevailing Wage Determinations (PWD)

At this point of time what are my options,

Can I get I140 approved before DEC2014

Any suggestion would be very helpful

Thanks

No one can predict I-140 approval.

It usually takes around 60 to 90 days from the date you get PWD approved to apply for PERM (based on how the ad process and interview process goes with your firm, which depends on the applications they receive for the job)

Currently the PERM approval rate is 7 months on an average. Do that the math.

All the best!

I can understand that I have a very little chance my I140 would be approved before December

Question, If in case my GC process is continuing & I am leaving US in October (2 Months before my 6 years expiration)

After I left & when I have approved I140, Can I recollect the 2 months & show the approved I140 to get an extension

Please advise

Thanks for your help
