ronny321
Hi, Me and my Fiancee both are in US and have a H1B visa. We are planning to get Registered marriage in US in next couple of weeks. She might loose her JOb in next 7-8 weeks. We are planning to apply for H4 for her immediately after the job termination. My Question? 1) Does this look suspicious to USCIS that we are getting married to avoid her to go out of status? What can be done to avoid this? 2) Is there a minimum period you have to be married, before you can apply for H4? 3) Do we need to have a Photographs and Invitation proof of our wedding for H4 application? What if it is a registered marriage? Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks, Link to comment

pontevecchio
A lawyer should be of more help. She can change status to B2 or at least apply before she goes out of status. Link to comment
pontevecchio
On second thoughts if you low key the matter and treat it as routine you will be fine. Link to comment
