H1B approved Chennai- Administrative processing

I am an employee for a major IT software and hardware giant. Attended 19 Feb for visa interview and was asked basic questions and told visa approved. It was under less than a minute and no documents except PP asked. VO said I will receive email when its ready.

 

In the evening I checked status in CEAC and shocked to see Administrative processing and its showing the same as of now.

 

Dont really understand this. Anyone can share insight?

Do not worry. It gets updated like that. Once visa is stamped the status gets updated to "issued".

Adminstrative Processing is very very generic term for visa processing. It might be ANY thing, even printing your VISA on the passport.

So no need to get shocked or worried about that.
