aston123
Hi Murthy team, I have attended an L1b interview in Aug 2012 under blanket petition. My visa was rejected saying "Not clearly approvable". Now Some other employer offered me to provide a H1b sponsership in 2014 and he asked me to send the rejection slip I got from the embassy. I someway missed the blue slip but I got all other documents I carried to the L1b interview. I even have the docuemnts that I have taken to my B1 interivew in in 2008. I have got 2 questions. 1. Is it mandatory that I should have the Blue slip to apply for my H1b ? or Is there a workaround ? 2. Will my L1b rejection in 2012 have an impact on my current H1b application ? ( it will be more than 2 years by the time I go to the H1b interview). Thanks in advance. Link to comment

As long as it has nothing to do with your educational qualifications or experience in a field you should be fine. Link to comment
JoeF
That's obviously for the lawyer, so he knows what happened. It is not required for an H1 filing, but having it may make things easier. Link to comment
