Sathishkbe
Hello, I am currenly on L1B individual and my I-94 expires on Sep 27, 2014. My L1B is being converted to H1B this year (FY 2015) and will be filed by my Employer on April 1, 2014. L1 B max-out date : Feb 20, 2015.PERM prority date : Dec 11, 2013 (EB-3 category) Option 1: If my petition is selcted through lottery (assuming there will be a lottery for this year as well). a) Should I apply for L1B extension to fill up the 4 days (From Sep 27 to Sep 30)? I believe I should. Please confirm. b) Incase if I file my L1 B extension in premium processing and if it gets rejected before my I-94 expires (Sep 27, 2014), should I go out of country or I can stay until Sep 27, 2014? c) Incase if I file my L1B extension in regular processing and it gets approved after Oct 1, 2014, will my H1B status be changed to L1 B again? Should I go for a change of status again? Option 2: If my petition is NOT selected through lottery. d) What are the options that I have inorder to continue my stay after Sep 27, 2014? e) Can I go for L1B to L1A conversion? Will I be eligible for L1A VISA (I believe L1A is applicable for those who do Managerial roles and I am managing a technical team which has around 15 members at offshore). Thanks Link to comment

Not necessary. 2. Refer 1. 3. Do not do that as by last action rule you will be on L1B status after extension approval. Option 2: 1. L1B extension. 2. Check with your employer's attorney.
