CANADA Driving Experience

Hi all

Just wanted to jot down my CANADA Driving Experience

I drove from Boston to Montreal then to Ottawa and this is my exp:

1) Get  Insurance Cards for Canada - You are covered (I got mine from Geico a week before my travel)

2) Take some Canadian cash incase ur Debit cards wont work - usually BOA has Canadian money

3) Canadian Port of Entry is  like a EZPass toll both, may take max 5-10min to clear

 

P.S - when I was in Canda my car wouldnt start and I called Geico and they send emergency roadside assistance within 15min free of charge to do a Jumpstart

 

So yes from my experince its like a long drive to a diff country and rest all is the same like USA

Is Geico insurance card for Canda is different than your regular insurance card ? If yes how do you get one ?

I have a question about my I 94. I have my current I 94 which was issued to me when I was in Opt. Do I need to return it to CBP? I am going to canada by bus. Have u returned your I 94?

You can request for one online for free - they send it to you in a week or so, it's like a yellow card (different from your US insurance id).

 

Is Geico insurance card for Canda is different than your regular insurance card ? If yes how do you get one ?

H1Visa639 - dont worry about i94, if they ask you can give  them, usually they dont (in my case and my freind's they havent)
