sankeerth Posted February 18, 2014 Report Share Posted February 18, 2014 Since a lot of people ask me about when I received my passport, I wanted to post my experience I know it differs from consulate to consulate and candidate to candidate but this is my story It took me 2 Bussiness Working Days to get my Passport 6th Feb - I attended VISA Intw on 6th @ Ottawa 6th Feb - Visa Approved and I was give a tracking slip by VO 7th Feb - The VISA Office is Closed on Friday the 7th 8th Feb - Saturday - I was exploring Toronto 8th Feb - Sunday - I was exploring Montreal 9th Feb - Monday - 9:30AM Visa was Approved - check here https://ceac.state.g...ker/status.aspx 9th Feb - Monday - 5:30PM Loomis was Updated - check here got an Email with Tracking 10thFeb - Tuesdday - 10:30AM Picked up my passport @ Loomis Location Link to comment

priya162122 Posted February 19, 2014 Report Share Posted February 19, 2014 Sandy6 Try calling loomis and give your name and passport details they might be able to give details if they have ur passport. For me the status on ceac was in ready but they told to give at least a day to send passport to loomis but I called loomis rigt away and they said my passport is there with them so I went a colledcted it. So far I feel like OTTAWA is the best consulate for visa stamping. Officers are very kool going Thanks again for guiding and thanx to Murphy forums as well. At the end of interview visa officer told me that I will get my passport on Friday or Monday. Also at Ottawa Cuisines had Kottu Rooti awsome dosas :-p I would suggest every one to verify PIMS with your attorney before u start to Canada so that you will get passport in 2 days for sure.
