foraccom
Hi, I had my visa stamping done by employer A in December 2008. Upon return to US got my H1B transferred to employer B in May 2009. In 2011 I traveled to India and returned to US in the same stamping as obtained in 2008 since it was still valid. At immigration they interviewed me on my new employment and issued a new I-94 card under employer B. Same year, 2011, I had my H1-B extended with employer B. As my previous stamping was expired ( emp A ) I need to go for stamping again in India when I visit. I have heard that there is dropbox service that can be used to expedite the stamping. Q) In the current situation do I qualify for the dropbox service? Q) And If I do how much time does it take? Q) Considering the recent situation with H1 visas, is it safe to travel now ( my 6 years of H1B will expire next year May ) ? I would appreciate any help in this regard. Thanks Regards Link to comment

Thanks Regards You are not eligible as you had moved from employer A with whom you had your latest H1B visa. You need to go for visa interview. Link to comment
