H1B Visa Approved : Buts status admin processing after 2 days no slips issued during interview

Hi all,

 

I attended my interview in Montreal, Canada in Feb 11th. The status has been updated on CEAC site as administrative processing on Feb 13th.

 

As for the interview, it went well with the Visa Officer saying your Visa is approved and you will get your passport within 5 days. No slips was issued during the interview and the interview was a smooth one with less questions and lasting less than 5 minutes. 

 

Can people share your inputs and suggestions .

You will get your passport with visa either today or early next week. Relax.

You will just wait to see when it turn to Ready. It happened with me that it Turned from AP to ready and then back to AP. SO keep tight,

Same situation...

 

wait it takes 24-36 hours for site to get update!

 

I had mine on 10th, got update status on 11th 9pm and ready to pickup on 12th 8am..

Don't panic wait till 5 days it will get changed to Ready status. Then it will go back to Administrative processing again and finally changes to Issued status. For me it took 7 days to get my passport back in Vancouver

It will change to Issued soon. There is a  problem with worldwide with the USCIS Servers.

Got my Visa today from the Loomis office. Thank you all for your replies!!

Hi,  I came to Montreal on 6th November 2017 for my H1b visa stamping (Full time Employee, 3rd renewal, same company). I am a Chemical Engineer working in the research department. After the interview the visa officer took my passport, I797 and resume and told me that they will review my resume but the visa is approved and you will get the visa in 3-5 business days. On November 7th 2017 I got an email from the consulate that your visa is under administrative processing. The passport even returned back my passport and I797 on 8th November  2017 (by Canada Post) without stamping. Its been more than two weeks now and its the same status. I have written number of emails to the consulate in case they require any information , but they replied they do not need any documents. I was not given any 221g after the interview or later on when they returned my passport and I797. 

 

My first two stampings were pretty smooth and never had any issues. Did anyone else have a similar experience?
