enemail1982
My L1A visa expires on March 2014, but my I94 is valid till 2016 - Dont know if this was an error from CBP officer in not checking the visa expiry - Can i work in US, if my I94 still valid - Will it have any legal impact - Currently my company is already filed the Green card processing, and its still under initial review status, Will this have any impact on my green card processing - My company is saying it is better to withdraw the extension petition because an RFE was raised. Reason for RFE was due to my travel out of country in December and this is the reason my company has provided - Any insights on all this and point me to this information in USCIS website will also be helpful. - Link to comment

Your current GC process will not affect or be affected due to this. Link to comment
pontevecchio
A blanket visa? Travel is not the reason as travel does not affect Status extension. there was possibly no reason for filing an extension if it was a blanket petition involved and a three year I94 already issued. Maybe you are extrapolating the answer from HR? Link to comment
