H1 ammendment

My employer filed H1 B last year (2013 - Masters quota - EVC model)

Project ended in september with that client.

I'm with new client in a different state.

My employer says H1 B ammendment is not required since the job description is same as with the previous client and he filed only new LCA.

Now I'm planning to go to India for stamping.

Would it be a problem if I go to stamping with new LCA and without H1B ammendment,

Please suggest!

Since client has changed there is a need for amendment.

You do need an amendment, please ask your employer to file an amendment.

Hi Maja, My case is same as yours. I been following this forum from quite some time now.

I took different suggestions. All of them suggested me to get Ammendment Done before going for stamping. I know few of my frnds who went to stamping without ammendment. We can take chance on others Luck right.

So i am getting my ammendment done. I suggest you to get ammendment before you to stamping.
