Changing jobs while LCA is being filed

Hello,

 

I am on H-1B visa. My company A is filing for LCA for Green Card in EB2 category for me the next week. I have an offer from a Company B but they will not file for my Green Card for at least one year after my joining. I was looking for the following information.

 

1. Is it safe to transfer H-1B to Company B while the LCA from Company A is still under processing with USCIS?

 

2. When will I get the priority date from LCA filing from Company A?

 

3. Is it possible to transfer that priority date when Company B files for my green card after an year?

 

4. Any other things that I should keep in mind or be concerned about while transferring my H-1B to Company B?

1. No one knows how safe it is as employer A might withdraw LCA.

2. Only when it is approved.

3. Yes, only if approval.

4. Join employer B only after H1B petition approval and not based on receipt notice.
