ashhsa Posted February 7, 2014 Report Share Posted February 7, 2014 My H4 visa is valid till 2015 MAY.I am planning to apply H1 this year.can I travel to india before applying or immediately after applying H1. I am plannig to return in 2months.Will it impact my H1 application.In case H1 is approved while am i india do i need to get H1b stamping? Link to comment

If you travel before applying or after applying H1B petition and later H1B gets approved then your would need a H1B visa to start working for employer from 1st Oct. If you would like to avoid stamping you can travel to India after H1B approval. Link to comment
