Hi Friends.

I am thanking each member of this forum for sharing there experiences which was helpful in attending for smooth interview process and getting replied to queries quickly.

In Calgary even though weather was cold the process was simple at Calgary. I was in and out within one hour.

My Appointment was at 8 AM. So I was in the line from 7:20 AM.

First check the items you can carry. But strictly no electronic devices.

Once they check your DS-160, Photo and Passport they screen you for any devices and then give a token number at the first entrance to the Interview which is on ground floor.

You have to wait until they take a group of 8 to 10 people to 10th floor where actual process starts.

So once you are on 10th floor you will be screened again similar to Airport check.

Once you are screened they will let you in and one of the member of the consulate will get your documents (DS-160,Passport,I-797) and bundle it where they will give you a token number.

Once you are in the line one of the consulate member will look at your documents, give you one booklet of your rights and take finger prints.

Once you are done you have to be seated and wait for your token number for interview process.

My interview was simple. No documents were asked.

(1) Who is your employer?

(2) Do you work for the client or the employer?

(3) What does your company do?

(4) What is your role in your company?

(5) Did you get the booklet of your rights?

And she says your VISA is Approved. You can collect in 3 to 5 business days.

And she gives me a document which shows how to get your passport. I was out by 8:30 AM.

Hope this helps for future members for Interview process.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Harish.
