Changing Employer during RFE

Hello,

 

Couple of month back I have joined with consulting firm from company A and currently working for a Not-For-Profit client on consulting firms payroll. Its contract to hire position. My I94 with Company A is expiring on Sep 2014. When I switch my job from Company A, Consulting firm applied the H1B transfer on regular mode and now I got a RFE on it. But I am very close to my hire date with Not-For-Profit company and they are planning to start my H1 transfer shortly. Is it possible for my current client do the H1 transfer when I am in RFE status? They will do the transfer on premium basis if required. 

 

If they cannot transfer the H1 till my current RFE petition approved what are the alternative for Not-for_profit organization on my H1 processing.?
