siprabhu
Hi, I94 expired on : Jun 15th 2013 L2 extension filed : May 30th 2013 L2 extension denied : Jan 31st 2014 We have 1month newborn baby and applied for Passport. Questions 1. Is the dependent eligibility to stay in US 240days from the I94 expiry date? If so we have to leave before Feb10, is that true? 2. As we have applied for newborn passport, can we stay here till newborn's passport and india visa ready? 3. Can we apply for emergency PIO or VISA now? What type of visa is recommended at this situation? 4. Do we have other options pls? Link to comment
JoeF
Why was the L2 extension denied? Since the I-94 has been expired for more than 6 months, you may be looking at a 3-year ban. You need to discuss your situation with a good immigration lawyer ASAP! Link to comment
pontevecchio
Under the circumstances give the firm of Murthy or any of your choice a call and take it further. If the L1 status is intact the L2 status can still be salvaged. Link to comment
