Hello All,

I attended my visa interview in Calgary on jan 27th and here is a little info on the hotels I stayed during my trip. My interview was on Jan 27th Monday, so I flew on Jan 25th saturday and had booked Downtown Marriott (110 9th Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2G 5A6, Canada) from jan 25th to Jan 27th (2 days). US embassy is just 500ft from this hotel and hence you don't need a car or cab, its 7 - 10 mins walk from the hotel. After my interview I booked Canada Best value in Calgary (2416 16th Avenue NW, Calgary, AB T2M 0M5) for the next 2 days.

If your interview is cleared you will have the passport available to pick up at Loomis brach the next day around 6pm. You don't have to wait for the waybill number. Check the visa status next morning and if it is updated to Issued from administrative processing, you can directly go to Loomis in the evening (the day after your interview) to pick up your passport. Please keep in mind that parking in downtown is expensive if you are planning to rent a car.

Please let me know if you need any further details on this.

Thanks & Regards,

Or after landing in Calgary airport is we need to draw some Canadain dollars from Canada Bank ATM?Around how much is sufficient to draw Canadian dollars and keep them as cash? Please let me know is any bank in Calgary airport have Bank of America tie-up so that can waive Convenience fee and can use the Bank of America credit card without drawing any money from Canadian Bank?

They charged me around $90 a night . It was a deluxe room I booked (advance purchase - not sure what it is). The deal was only available on weekends so I made use of it for my first 2 days. I booked it on expedia, see if you can find something similar to that.
