Hi Guys:

I appreciate if someone can some some light on the following scenario:

1:I am on H1B with a fortune 500 company,full-time permanent offer

2:I have got my Labor and I-140 approved..got extension till 2017.

3:On my current passport my first employer's visa is present and expired(Sept-2009)..but not my current company's

5:Did  not visit for the past 6 yrs..but my did..and uptodate on the stamping

6:My indian passport will expire on July-2014..

I am planning to go to india in the month of June...my intention is to get the stamping done in canada instead in India..my current employer has a big presence in Canada too..

If even for some reason, which is a remotest possibility,i happen to get a query in Canada..still i can come back to USA availing the Automatic visa revalidation...whereas in India..i am stuck there..and processing would be bit slower than in Canada..

Thoughts and suggestions please..this is urgent for me...

If you go to Canada for a visa stamping you cannot use AVR.
