Hello everyone,

I am going to India for a family emergency. I came to the US in 2008 on an F1, and did my masters in public health.

I got a full time job in a well known University hospital since 2010. I also have an MD.

None of my research deals with anything sensitive as compiled on the TAL list.

I have all the documentation required.

My question is- will I be on administrative processing related to TAL?

Has anyone had a similar experience?

I need to report back to my job within 3 weeks due to the intensity of work. Should I let my employer know the possibility of a delay?

Thank you in advance.

No one can predict your chances. Since you are connected to research you might get 221G. Inform your employer about the possibility.
