Upgrading to Premium

My employer has posted my extension in regular processing before a month. We have not received receipt number from USCIS.


Since my I-94 expires in a week, I have asked my employer to upgrade it to premium. But he says he cannot upgrade regular to premium processing without the extension filing receipt.


a. Is that the case we would need a regular receipt to make it premium?

b. Can I continue to work for 240 days, since my extension is filed with USCIS, even though I dint get the receipt?

a) i guess he is right, you need some reference.

b) you cannot work beyond i94 date if you dont have receipt number. Receipt number is a proof that USCIS received your application, your sending doesn't matter.


Contact your lawyer, ask him to chk courier tracking.
