I entered United States on L1-B status in Feb'2010, I-94 was given to me till Nov'2011. I got extension on I-94 from Nov'2011 to Nov'2013 while on L1.  I changed status from L1 to H1 in 2013 and got a new validity from Oct'2013 to 'Oct'2014. Thus my I-94 has been extended 2 times, but I will have used only 4 1/2 years from Feb'2010' till Oct'2014. Two questions - (1) Am I allowed another extension on my I-94 for the remaining 1.5 years to total the max. of 6 yrs? (2) Will applying for greencard and clearing the I-140 stage before Oct'2014 allow me to remain in US or maybe apply for extensions on my I-94 ?
