Post Decision Activity to Acceptance

My case is approved and got email on 12thNov2013 and status got changed to Acceptance on 21stNov2013. I didnt recieve I797. Can anyone tell me what will be the reason on your and your friends experiences, your obeservation and possibilities ?????

 

Can we say it is a System Error?

You do not receive the form; the filer does.

Your employer or lawyer would receive the approval I-797. You can follow up with them.

is it approved only?

but in the status description : an ammended notice was mailed describing how we will process this case.

i am confused. its been 2 weeks got approved. but my petitioner has not recieved i797.

if the courtesy email notice has I 94 number in it then does it mean that approved petition will have I94 attached to it? any experiences from your previous petitions is much appreciated.

 

Shilpa, contact your attorney and find out if they have recevied approval notice via mail and they asked USCIS to ammend it after they fond some mistakes on your approved petition. this is only a possibility and your attorney should have all details.
