Filing H1B with 2 employer after job termination

I got laid off 20 days ago. HR said I have 30 days grace period to find a new job and do my H1B transfer.

 

I got contracting offer and joined the consultancy. And for a week I'm working as a contractor. Now I got a full-time, is it ok to jump to full-time after working for the consultancy for a week?

 

If it is fine, is it mandatory I have to do H1B in premium with full-time offer I have.

You have zero days grace period on H1B. It is called a bridge petition. Ask full time employer to file a H1B petition in PP using consultancy's H1B receipt notice.

There is NO grace period.  Short period of out of status may be overlooked. You may be required to go for consular processing.
