ramin
Hello,My husband's employer had filed for our extention for H1B and H4 respectively in April 2013,our visa expiry was on july 30th 2013.Our extention was approved by October end and we recieved our document by 10th of November. My husband's H1B extention with I-797 and I-94 has approval notice along with validty date from April 22 nd 2013 to Feb 2nd 2016,However my H4 extention approval with I-797 forms has approval notice but doesnt specify any validity date,I also have I-94 but again with no validity date.I have called the uscis and they have told that it is approved but they dont know anything further. They have given me a request number but that doesnt help either. Please help me out if anyone have faced same trouble as i will be travelling with my infant(usa citizen) to india by 1st week of december.WIll i have any trouble in stamping??any suggestion and help will be highly appreciated.this is an urgent situation.ThanksRamin Link to comment
Tjgarla
U can go ahead with the stamping . Doesn't matter about the dates as you have the dates Link to comment
itsmeusa
As H4 is based on H-1b dates, H-1b validity dates will govern H4 dates. So you are good to go, please carry your spouse's H-1b approval copy. Link to comment
