DS-160 form filing :

My petition got approved for the year 2014. Now I started to filling form DS-160 in that I had question as "Has anyone ever filed an immigrant petition on your behalf with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services"

My case history, I was applied H1B in 2008 but my case got denied but I'm not sure whether my case got applied on that year (my consultancy didnt provide proper information). So how I can know the previous case petition number and also want to status of the petition  by passport number?

Kindly help me... Thanks in advance

Immigrant petition means green card. H1B is a non-immigrant petition. If any employer has initiated GC processing then based on the stage it has reached you have to answer the question.

I applied for H1B and that got approved now. This is first time I'm travelling to US.

Same case I applied H1B in 2008 but it got rejected my employer didnt provide proper information about my case and also he didnt provided any information more same thing happen for 12 more peoples just make sure while filling the Ds160 need to whether my previous employer has applied against my name or not.

If you came to know to trace my previous petition details please let me know.

Thanks,

Ranjith
