texas007 Posted November 18, 2013 Report Posted November 18, 2013 I have a query regarding visa transfer,it would be really great if you can answer the query.My visa for current employer - A was expired on September, 2013 and they applied for visa extension inAugust 2013, I have receipt notice for the same.Meanwhile, I have got a job offer from company B and my visa transfer was approved and approved visa start date is Nov. 2013.Now, my earlier company - A might revoke H1 extension (which was filed in Sept.and currently in-progress) .Just wanted to check what will be my status from September till Nov. 5th in case current employer revokes H1B extension. Your help is really appreciated.

Thanks a lot for confirmation. I have moved to company B and special thanks to you for on-time inputs. My wife is planning to travel to India, does she need to go consulate for visa stamping as employer has changed or dropbox will work. Please guide me.

If she has a valid H4 visa there is no need for new stamping. H4 visa is not attached to an employer. She needs a copy of your new I797 to enter US.

She needs a copy of your new I797 to enter US. The visa in Passport was till 2012, I had extension for company A in 2012 and I got extension for 1 yer( Sept. 2013). Now I moved to company B in 2013, so shall she go for consulate for visa stamping or drop box will work. Please guide.

But, I doubt she will qualify as you have changed your employer.
