Rajasri12 Posted November 17, 2013 Report Share Posted November 17, 2013 Hi, My I94 expired on 22 march 2013.my employer applied for extension in March begining and I got rife in May.I replied to Rfe on June 4,2013.My employer checked with Uscis in oct and they said that they need some more time to take a decision.Meanwhile my mother passed away suddenly in mid October and I returned to India with my family.What options do I have to come back ? I have left the apartment with all my things and still paying rent for the apartment.Do you know how long it takes for L1extension filed in March? Link to comment

You have no other option other than waiting for extension approval to enter US. You could ask your friends to help you move out of current apartment and put stuff in a storage locker. Link to comment
