catx Posted November 16, 2013 Report Posted November 16, 2013 In a word, yes, these categories have stringent requirements. (That is why there is no backlog in the EB1 preference category.) Your question indicates that you do not have a good understanding of the U.S. immigration / permanent residency (green card) process as EB-1A ("Extraordinary Ability"), EB-1B ("Outstanding professors and researchers"), and EB-1C ("Multinational manager or executive") are very different with very different requirements. It would be a very rare case where someone would be choosing between these categories.
