ramesh356 Posted November 15, 2013 Report Posted November 15, 2013 Hi, My question is whether visa stamp is required after changing employer? More details: - H-1B visa stamped on passport with previous employer valid until Sept 2014. That stamping was done in home country. - Changed employer recently and have approved I-797 until April 2016. - Do I need visa stamp as I intend to travel to UK. If so can I have the visa stamped in the UK or do I have to go to home country. Thanks

But, if you want you can always go for a new stamping at US consulate in UK.
pontevecchio Posted November 15, 2013 Report Posted November 15, 2013 You do not need a new visa with each employer change.
rahul412 Posted November 15, 2013 Report Posted November 15, 2013 Hi, My question is whether visa stamp is required after changing employer No. You need new visa stamp if your current visa is expired
upenther123 Posted November 15, 2013 Report Posted November 15, 2013 You don't need to go for stamping if you are planning to travel before sep 2014. Carry the approved I-797 and required documents with new employer.
