H1B Petition transfer

Hi,

 

I have a H-1B approved petition for the year 2013-2014 and I have also the visa stamping. I am still living in the home country(not India), but the empoyer with who I am working in home country is filing the H-1B transfer pettion.

 

Should I go to the visa stamping again after the H-1B transfer? My wife has got H4 visa and should she also get the new visa stamping?

Nope. Both of you need not go for a new stamping if you have a valid H1B and H4 visa. You just need your new employer's I797 to travel to US.

That is correct. As long as your H1B visa from old employer is valid it should be fine.
