l1bextension approves after started working on h1b visa , what can be done to work continuously on H1?(urgent please )

Hi,

I was on l1b visa with emloyer A. my i94 expired on April,2013.

My employer filed a l1b extension and. It was not approved till oct 2013.

Employer B filed for my H1b in april 2013 and it got approved.

I started working with employer B on H1 visa from october,2013.

NOW, in November, my L1b also approved.

Please suggest what should i do to keep working with employer B on h1 visa. Is their any ammendment that can save me?

Either your employer B applies for COS to H1B and pay H1B fees again or exit and enter US with a H1B visa.

Is their any timeline for CoS approval from the date of application?

Till the time CoS again approves, can I continue work with employer B on h1?

Regular processing you are looking at 3 to 4 months and by premium processing 15 calendar days.

I believe you are allowed to work on H1B based on receipt notice for COS.

Hi H1L1 member,

 

This is similar to my case ..I would like to post my queries as well..

 

Doubt: If it is legal to work with H1B employer during "L1B-to-H1B-CoS-H1B-CAP-exempt" processing period. <<The period between the date when immigraiton status becomes L1B as per last action rule AND before "L1B-to-H1B-CoS-H1B-CAP-exempt" approved >>. 
                    If this case is legal, would you receommend premium procesing which could help in reducing the illegal number of days working for H1B employer on illegal status? or whether it is legally eligible to work for employer B in normal processing as the new "L1B-to-H1B-CoS-H1B-CAP-exempt" is in pending/processing status.
