In person Canada tourist Visa application at LA/NY

I have heard different versions about  canada tourist visa in-person applications at LA /NY consulate.

 

Is it true that few people got their canada visa on the same day or second day if they applied it in person at the consulate located in LA or NY. Please suggest if you know any examples.

I think they are not offering in-person TRV any more. Check the respective canadian consulate websites for more information.

Thanks for your response. I have checked the websites, and look slike LA and NY still accepts in-person TRVs. But just wondering what could be the processing time.
