H1 Approved and traveled to INDIA on OPT

I have my H1 approved In May with a start date on October 1. I traveled to INDIA on OPT which is expiring in Dec on returned to US on September 6. I received a new online I-94. Should I file for amendment of I-94 becuase my H1 I-94 and the I-94 i have does not match. Thanks.

There is no amendment for I94. Either your employer files a COS, pay H1B fees again and wait for 3 plus months for approval or you can exit and enter US on a H1B visa.
