a999 Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 One of my frnd is in following situtation . can any one share info if they know anything about this He filed H1-b in masters quota in 2012 and went for stamping and came back and working on h1-b from oct 2012 . but his university is having accredation but it is a profit organization so he should not apply in h1-b masters quota which he dont know at the point of applying h1-b. So now in the coming 2014 quota he wants to file h1-b in regular quota from new employer as the same employer cannot file another h1-b when the previous one is still valid. new employer can apply h1-b for him in regular quota in 2014 ??? as he was already once picked in masters quota 2012.. is it posible..

His approved H1B petition is invalid. He has to talk to a good immigration attorney asap to determine his next course of action.
