GC filling need info

Hi,

 

 

I have 5yrs of IT exp. with B.tech(4 yrs course) in IT.

 

I was working in India for 4 yrs(client A) and got an onsite opp to work with different client.(Client B)

 

 

My years of exp is split into 4yrs in India + 1 yr in US, working for same employeer, but different client as mentioned above.

 

 

My question is that, will I be elegible for EB2 processing, since the nature of Job dutiy is completely different of what i was working in client A when compared with present Job duties in client B.

 

I have not shifted company, but changed only my client.

 

I just wanted to know the elegibility for the above, as I could carry forward in future with my employer if i get an opp for GC

While the actual rule is simple enough, one's situaton is always unique. As far as I know, your experience should be progressive for 5 yrs & your new job (for which your GC case made) should be significantly different from current.

You "might" be eligible for EB2 but its the job responsibilities which decides the category.
