L1B to H1,want to continue in L1B Urgent

Hi,

 

I am working for company A with L1B,My L1b Visa and petition still valid next  march.

 

 

and company B has Applied fresh H1B and it got approved.

 

After H1B Approved,i went out of US and came back with new I-94.Now My visa valid till next march and got i-94 upto 2015.

 

My Questions are :

 

can i work with L1B till my I-94 valid.

is H1B Visa Invalid?

I want to be continue with L1B,What is the process to be done?What will happen to My L1B petetion?

2) This Year,My H1b got picked up in lottery and got approved on Nov 5th.

3) I went out of US on nov 8th on business trip and return back on 10th with new I-94 on L1B visa and new i-94 validity is upto 2015 end.

 

in this case,Can i continue with L1B visa till my i-94 validity?

 

in this case,What will happen with my H1B?

 

Please help me out.

Yes, you can stay on L1B status till expiry of I94.

If you do not join your H1B employer they would ask USCIS to revoke your H1B petition. This will not affect the filing and outcome of any future cap exempt H1B petitions of prospective employers.

Currently i am in same situation like you.

 

Could u pls advice, which I 94 u had submitted before leaving US. Is it L1B I94 or H1B I94.

 

My H1B COS just got approved today (Dec 06, 2013) and i am planning to travel to Mexico for 2 days and re-enter US on L1 blanket petition. Thank you.
