karthikuppuluri Posted November 11, 2013 Report Posted November 11, 2013 Hello There, Guys I have a H1 Visa approved under the 2012 Quota, and valid till March 2014, I have been to the stamping in the month of March 2013, and unfortunately ended up in 221G, and finally I have to withdraw it,the questions on my Mind are I have been through various forums and understand that H1 once approved, we ll have cap exemption for next 6 years, is this true ? Can I proceed to re-apply the H1 if I find an offer or I have to wait till month of March-April 2014 to do that ? Your inputs would be highly important.

Another employer can file a cap exempt petition anytime and you can begin working immediately after approval.
