Is It advisable to apply H1B amendment and transfer in span of 3 months

In September 2013  I did my H1B amendment as I moved to new client and  H1 B got approved but  unfortunately I was out of project on October 1 week . after 1 month staying on bench recently I got a project in different state  through some vendor(not my current employer) , but  this Vendor wants me  to come on his W2 that means I have to transfer my H1 to his company. Please help me out is it advisable to apply for H1 transfer?
