mustafa Posted November 1, 2013 Report Posted November 1, 2013 I understand that a candidate can have multiple approved concurrent H1Bs. But are there any restrictions on the work locations mandated by USCIS? Can they be in different cities across the united states? For example, an IT engineer can work remotely from any place. Would he be able to get concurrent H1Bs, one for a job in NYC and another for a job in LA?
JoeF Posted November 1, 2013 Report Posted November 1, 2013 If you work remotely, the work location would be your home. You can obviously not have multiple work locations that are not within normal commuting range.
mustafa Posted November 2, 2013 Author Report Posted November 2, 2013 You can obviously not have multiple work locations that are not within normal commuting range. Thank you for your response. But in many cases, the law defies the obvious reasoning. I would like to know what is the actual law. What if the second job is peripatetic in nature?

What if the second job is peripatetic in nature? The law is what I said. You can obviously not work in two jobs that are separated by more of a normal commute time. Unless you have entered the realm of science fiction, like beaming... If you want to get a legal opinion, pay for a consultation with a lawyer.
pontevecchio Posted November 2, 2013 Report Posted November 2, 2013 How would you do a Travelling Gig for one employer and a FT job for another. What is your reasoning?
